Peace in Islam

The "root" of the word "Islam" in Arabic is SALAMA which is the origin of the words Peace or Submission, a submission to God and peace to all humanity. It is, thus, no wonder why the salutation in Islam is: "Al-Salamu Alaikum or Peace on You."

Naturally, a religion that describes itself as a religion of peace can have no relation with terrorism, if that religion is interpreted in the right manner. In the Quran the Prophet Muhammad is referred to as rahmat al-il alamin, or ‘mercy unto the worlds’. He is thus a source of mercy for all of humankind, and not just Muslims alone. Naturally, then, his teachings can have no room for terrorism at all.

In This regard, Muslims are governed by the rules that the relationship with non-Muslims should be based on justice, mutual respect, cooperation, and communication. According to hadith report, the Prophet Muhammad is said to have declared, ‘All creatures are part of God’s family.’ This is a wonderful expression of true universalism. It clearly announces that all of humankind, irrespective of religion or community, belongs to the same family of God. In this way, this hadith report is a declaration of the slogan about the world being a global village which we are today so familiar with.

Quran, The pure word of Allah

Quran is allah revelations to prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him). These revelations of Quran by god to prophet Muhammad were through the angel Gabriel (peace be upon him) .Also these revelations were in pure Arabic so the Quran is the direct word of Allah and does not contain a single alphabet from anyone, even prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him)

The Quran is the pure word of Allah. Not one word therein is not divine. Not asingle word has been deleted from its text. The Book has handed down to our age in its complete and original form since the time of prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him).

the Quran has not changed by even an alaphabet since its revelation fourteen centuries ago, Allah has promised in the Quran that He will preservve i to the end of time. it is also for this reason there is no need for any new prophet or revelation (guidance)to come to humankind after prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him)

Revelations of Quran started in year 610 AD when prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) was in mecca (makkah) and was by then 40 years old, The revelations continued since then and was completed by year 632 AD (year of death of the prophet)

The long period for full revelations of Quran (around 22 years) allowed the Quran to be fully memorized and documented by many Muslims. It was recited in the mosque by prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during the daily five prayers without single letter change. Many muslims since then untile now are memorizing Quran fully without single letter difference. This explains why Quran remains by god will and will remain by god will without single letter change.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)

Allah has sent prophets to every nation throughout history so that they may show their people the Straight Path ,Also the prophet Muhammad was sent to mankind as the last prophet. He was a living example of the sublime morality of Allah's last revelation.

Those Muslims who follow the way of the Prophet (peace and blessing s be upon him) need to be foremost in their morality and behavior, and to invite others to adopt that same morality. As the Prophet's words "The most perfect believer in respect of faith is he who is best of them in manners." make clear, morality is one the most important components of true faith. It is therefore an important religious duty to learn about and practice the very best examples of it

Throughout his life, however, he showed an interest in each and every one, warned them about their mistakes and failings, and tried to educate them in all matters, from cleanliness to matters of faith. That compassionate, tolerant, understanding and patient attitude of his was the means by which many peoples' hearts warmed to Islam and developed a genuine love for the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him)

The Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) never pressured those around him to accept the religion, nor imposed conditions on them. Instead he always used the pleasantest ways to tell them about it. He always supported the community of the faithful with his strong conscience, and was a benefactor to them at all times      .
